About East Medford
Roxy Ann Peak – Hiking
This is a great place to get away on a beautiful day… what a view when you get to the top. It rises 3,576 feet above sea level and 2,200 feet above the surrounding Rogue Valley. Some people think it is a 20 million year old volcano, but they are not sure of the geologic origin. Roxy Ann Peak can be accessed via Roxy Ann Road, which climbs about halfway up the mountain and then splits into a loop just inside Prescott Park. The 2.4-mile (3.9 km) loop goes all the way around the peak. The peak is home to many birds, plants and wildlife. These trails have been enjoyed by hikers, bicyclists and horseback riders. See you there !
